 My Story:
First and most importantly, I love BCSD!!! I am a proud product of Bibb County Schools.  I have walked the halls of Matilda Hartley Elementary School and Ballard Hudson Middle School as well as trotted the pavement between multiple buildings at Southwest High School trying to beat the 7-minute bell. Macon, Georgia is my home and there is no other place in the world that I'd rather be. The teachers in this district sowed into my life and contributed greatly to my success.

After graduating from Southwest Magnet High School I matriculated to Fort Valley State University, home of the mighty Wildcat. Upon graduation, I moved back home to begin my teaching career.  I was transplanted into the Central High School family and the Chargers welcomed me with open arms.  I found my joy here and I have been screaming C's House every since.  As one of the varsity cheerleading coaches, I have inevitably become the children's biggest fan. I have served Central in many capacities, which include the AVID Site Team Coordinator, Advisement Implementation Coordinator, Math Teacher, Math Department Chair, and Academic Coach. Currently, I serve as the instructional Dean of Students.

I strongly believe that education is the key that frees us from captivity. I am passionate about teaching and learning.  It is my mission to impact children everyday.  I am an advocate for children and dedicated to being a champion for ALL children.
